Choosing Your Jig Head Weight

• 5g — ideal for shallow water, slow retrieves, and calm conditions over shallow reef and estuarine marks. Keeps the lure in the upper water column.
• 7g — the all-round weight for mixed ground, moderate tides, and mid-water column presentations. A great starting point for most UK bass marks.
• 11g — for deeper water, stronger tides, and rough ground where you need to get down fast and stay in the strike zone. Deadly for big pollock and wrasse over deep reef.
• 14g — maximum depth and control in fast tides, heavy surf, and deep-water marks. When you need to stay pinned to the bottom in challenging conditions.

Colour Guide — Match the Conditions

• Neon Yellow/White — high visibility in coloured or murky water, estuaries, and low-light conditions. Go-to when bass are feeding aggressively near the surface.
• Blurple — exceptional in off-colour water and overcast conditions; the blue/purple silhouette triggers reaction strikes at depth.
• Pearl White / Full Moon — natural and subtle for clear water over shallow reef and rocky marks.
• AYU — realistic baitfish imitation for clear, calm conditions when fish are keyed in on sand eels.
• 24K / Paris Pink / Waka — high-flash attractor colours for bright conditions and clear surf beaches.
• Mackerel — ultra-realistic baitfish pattern that excels when bass are hunting mackerel and herring in open water and off headlands.
